1st place Mens Masters D. Jelatis
Demetrius Jelatis - Mens Masters 1st Place Winner

This was Demitrius's first Six Arrows event and he was impressive sitting in the drivers seat and beating out some very tough competition.  He put Second place winner Vince Chambers, who won the MM at our Jan '06 Hinckley event, on the 'B' side (as the Canadians call it).  Vince then beat Rory H. to meet up with Demitrius again to beat him the first round but Demitrius came back to take the championship.

Men's Open 1st Place Winner R-Boyd

Ryan Boyd - Men's Open 1st Place Winner

Ryan Boyd was also in the drivers seat when he met up with Terry Markhardt from No Dakota.  He beat him quickly for the championship.

Stars of the North 1st Place Winner - B. Fondell
Beth Fondell - Stars of the North 1st Place Winner

Beth was in the drivers seat and put other Masters level players Chrissy Pluta & Jessica Frideres on the losers side.  She won the championship against second place Jeri Bouvette in one game.

Rising Stars 1st Place Winner - M. Wind
Margaret Wind - Rising Stars 1st Place Winner

She was in the drivers seat and her opponent Julie Brunelle won the first match but Margaret came back to win the second for the championship.  This is only Margaret's second Open tournament with Six Arrows.  She will now move up to the Stars (women's upper division) in our other tournaments.  Both Julie Brunelle, from No. Dakota, and Margaret will move up.

Youth Boys 1st Place Winner - J. Engel
Jesse Engel - Youth Boys 1st Place Winner

This is the second Six Arrows event where 14 year old Jesse took first place in the Boys Youth division.  Second place winner Christopher Lease (age 16-but his first tournament) put Jesse on the losers side only to meet up with him for the championship where Christopher beat him.  But Jesse came back to win the tournament.   Side note:  Jesse also won one of the Sat. nite mini-tournaments with adult players.

Youth Girls 1st Place Winner - H. Nickaboine

Heather Nickaboine - Youth Girls 1st Place Winner

17 year old Heather won easily in the Youth girls division sitting in the drivers seat and beating second place Kayla Jorgenson for the championship.
