Making homemade playdough is a lot of fun for all ages even my teenagers enjoy making it. The playdough keeps well in a jar or a ziplock bag for a long time. Mixing essential oils with your playdough makes this a fun and relaxing activity for you and your children. Enjoy this fun recipe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>1 Cup water<\/li><li>1 Cap flour<\/li><li>1\/4 cup salt<\/li><li>2 tbsp cream of tarter<\/li><li>1 tbsp olive oil<\/li><li>Food coloring ( optional but fun)<\/li><li>Essential oils of your choice<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Mix water, flour, salt, cream of tarter, and oil in a medium sized pot until well blended.<\/li><li>While stirring continuously, cook over medium &#8211; low hear until it forms a thick dough that is no longer sticky ( approx. 5 minutes)<\/li><li>Remove dough from pan and place on waxed paper to cool for about 5 minutes&nbsp;<\/li><li>Divide into four equal pieces&nbsp;<\/li><li>Make a well in the middle fo each piece and add approximately 10 drops of food coloring and knead until the color is well blended into the dough<\/li><li>Make a well in the middle and add approximately 8-10 drops of essential oil of choice and knead again for about 60 seconds.
