The first week of June and we were looking for some fun things to do with the kids outside. All they wanted to do was paint. I had a great idea; I remember seeing a friend a few months ago make outdoor child safe paint. It was then time to go on a quest for a recipe so that my kids could use their imagination outside. We had so much fun even though we only had two good containers to squirt the paint out. They made hand prints, just had a lot of paint and wrote things like their name. They used their imagination and had fun drawing. This was defiantly a fast and fun activity and we will definitely be doing it again.
The recipe that we used for puffy paint only took me about 15 minutes to make with Donovan, Malachi and Diana
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 cup water
1 tbsp dish soap ( doesn’t matter the brand)
1 plastic squeeze bottle
Food coloring of the child’s choice
Instructions
Mix the 1 cup flour and 1 cup of water really well make sure there are no lumps.
Next add the 1 tbsp dish soap
Once it’s all mixed up add your coloring and put in the bottle
Last have a great time making memories with your children
One thing to note, use it all as it does not keep well. If you keep it closed there is a chance it could explode.
